With my calm and friendly guidance, I'll make sure you feel natural in front of the camera while making the experience fun for the kids. Together, we'll capture the genuine, loving moments that truly reflect your family's unique connection.
Getting Excited: Before You Book
Take the time to have a good look around my website and at my portfolio. Can you imagine yourself and your family within these photos? Great!
Next, let's have a chat! I'd love to get to know you and hear all about your family, plus I want you to get to know me too and feel that I am the right fit as your family photographer. I mean, connection is everything after all and I want you to feel relaxed and like you are just hanging out with a good friend.
Preparing for Fun: Before Your Photoshoot
Once you have decided that I am the right photographer for you (yay!), we will chat about dates for your photoshoot and also the location.
If you have a location in mind, let me know and I will give you my honest thoughts on whether I feel it would work for your shoot and if you will get the best photographs out of it. If you want some help choosing a location, I have a location guide of some of my favourite places to shoot at that I can send you, which includes the pros and cons of each.
Now that you have chosen a location, we have a date booked in the calendar and you have signed your contract and paid your session fee... now the fun begins and it is time to start planning outfits!
I will be there every step of the way. I will send you a photoshoot guide with lots of hints and tips and a style guide too. Plus I am just at the end of the phone. I love to receive WhatsApp messages from families asking for my advice and showing me what they have chosen.
Making Memories: During Your Photoshoot
Let me start out by saying, first of all, that your shoot is going to be amazing!
99% of the time the first 15 minutes of any photoshoot can feel a little awkward until you and your family can relax into it and feel confident in front of the camera. I will help you do this!
Although my images look candid, most of them are actually achieved through a beautiful blend of light direction from me and lots of play. I promise it will be fun and by the end of the session you'll be total pros in front of the camera.
My objective isn’t just to take pretty pictures – it’s to capture the authentic, genuine and emotional connection between you and your family.
Reliving the Magic: After Your Photoshoot
Within one week after your photoshoot, you will get to relive all the fun you had when I send you a few highlights from your session via an online gallery.
3-4 weeks later, you will get to view your entire gallery and this is when you will choose which photo package you would like to opt for.
I will be on hand the entire way and always happy to help with any questions you have at any point.
