Photographed across Sussex, from Worthing to Chichester, Brighton, Horsham and everywhere in between.
My family sessions are calm, unhurried, and centred around connection. No stiff posing, no pressure for children to behave perfectly, and no expectation for everyone to smile at the same time.
Just real moments, gentle direction when you need it, and space for your family to be yourselves.
A family session with me is honestly more like spending time together than being photographed.
Every family is different, and every family member is different . . . shy, excited, full of energy, or happiest tucked into your arms. I meet children exactly where they are, without asking them to be anything else.
I will always guide gently when it helps, but nothing is ever forced. Whether your child wants to run, stay close, explore quietly, or simply cuddle in, it all belongs.
I’m never going to ask you to do anything that feels awkward or over the top, I’m here to capture the connection that already exists. As an introvert at heart, I keep things calm and comfortable, so you can settle into being yourselves.

We had a fab experience working with Amy. She made us all feel really comfortable and confident during our photoshoot down on the beach.
I was apprehensive about how our boys would behave and if they would be interested in having their photos taken. But Amy’s fun and relaxed approach to the shoot made the boys engage with her which resulted in amazing smiley photos!
The styling guide she provided me before hand was so helpful too. We would definitely recommend Amy to friends and family.

Real Experiences

My approach is calm, supportive, and gently guided.
I never expect you to know what to do . . . that’s my job! I’ll give you simple, natural prompts that help you settle in together without ever feeling posed or awkward.
I’m there to read the room, understand your family’s personalities, and create moments that feel genuine. Whether your children are shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I guide the session in a way that feels comfortable for everyone.
I’m never going to ask you to do anything that feels awkward or over the top, I’m here to capture the connection that already exists. My aim is always the same: to photograph your family in a way that feels honest, relaxed, and true to who you are.
I photograph families across Sussex, including:
Worthing * Brighton * Chichester * Arundel * Horsham
West Sussex countryside * Your home
Sessions can take place outdoors - parks, fields, your favourite walk - or at home if you prefer something quieter and more intimate.
I also offer beach sessions at West Wittering, which is perfect for families who love the coast.
Once you’ve seen your gallery, you choose the photo collection that feels right for you, depending on how many images you’d like to keep.
I carefully select and edit your full gallery, which will be ready around four weeks after your session.
Within a week, you’ll receive a small preview on a private online gallery - just a handful of images to enjoy while I work on the rest.
Sessions last around an hour (longer if needed). We take our time, follow your children’s lead, and keep things relaxed and natural.
A signed contract and a £125 session fee secures your date.
You get in touch and tell me a little about your family and the kind of session you’re imagining.

I require the full session fee & signed contract in order to get a provisional date booked and secured on my calendar. Your chosen photo package can be purchased following your photoshoot once you have received your gallery.
Absolutely! I know being in front of the camera can feel a little awkward at first, but I’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure you feel comfortable and confident.
I’ll guide you into natural poses, showing you where to stand or sit to make the most of the beautiful light. But more than that, I want to capture the real moments between you, those genuine connections that tell your family love story.
While I’ll be there giving gentle prompts to spark laughter, playfulness, and plenty of cuddles, I’ll also step back to let the magic unfold naturally. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you can be yourselves, so the photos we capture reflect the love and authenticity of your family.
Sometimes it takes children (and grown ups!) a little time of warm up to having their photo taken.
As an experienced photographer and fellow mum, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to get a little giggle from them.
Having said that, I am a true believer that once they see the rest of the family joining in and having fun, they usually do the same out of fear of missing out!
Plus, many of the most cherished photographs are those of pure love and the natural connection between a child and those that they trust, rather than the cheesy smiley posed portraits.
You’ll receive a welcome guide after booking with lots of helpful suggestions.
Absolutely! If you have a location in mind that’s special to you and your family, I’d love to hear about it – we can chat and see if it’s somewhere that would work well for your shoot.
I also have a handful of tried-and-tested locations that I know photograph beautifully and suit different types of family sessions. When we book your shoot, I’ll guide you through the best options based on the time of day, the look you love, and the kind of setting you’re after.
Wherever we end up, I’ll make sure it’s somewhere that allows your family to feel relaxed and enjoy the experience.
If your photoshoot is planned to be outdoors and the photoshoot is likely to be a complete wash out, we will rearrange your session to an alternative date.
We will make a final decision the day before as the weather can change quickly.
Yes, absolutely. I mainly photograph families across Worthing, Brighton, Chichester, Arundel, and wider Sussex but I am also happy to travel beyond this.
Travel fees are applied if I'm travelling more than 25 miles from the area BN14, which is charged both ways.
That is a definite yes from me! If you have a dog and they are part of the family, then absolutely we will include them in many of the photos too.
If you have young children and a dog attending the photoshoot, (as they both tend to want to do their own thing!) I cannot guarantee that I will get a photo of the whole family plus the dog, although I will try my absolute best.
I will absolutely try my best but you may need to decide beforehand which is the focus of the photoshoot, the children or your dog.
Absolutely! Just let me know when you book.
6 people are included in your £125 session fee, but you are more than welcome to add more at £15 per person.
My editing process typically takes around 4 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. You will receive a little preview of images around 1 week after your session.
I prioritise quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
I highly recommend ordering prints through the professional printing lab that I work with, but it isn't required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I always love to help with prints!
I have an online ordering store right within your gallery to purchase prints or albums which I am happy to help create for you with a selection of your favourite photos.
Yes! A photoshoot makes a thoughtful and timeless gift. Get in touch, and I’ll arrange a beautifully presented gift voucher for you. You can find more information on a photoshoot gift voucher here.
