What a motherhood mini Session Feels Like
Every motherhood mini looks a little different, because every child connects in their own way - their age, energy, and personality shape the whole feel of the session.
With babies it will probably involve lots of cuddles, whereas for toddlers and young children, it’s often more playful - exploring, tickles, being scooped up, or those quick snuggles they give before running off again.
With older children it's usually more relaxed, jokey and chatty. You might sit together, walk hand in hand and simply be together in a way that feels comfortable and unforced.
No matter the age, the session is calm, simple, and centred on the relationship you already have.

My approach is calm, supportive, and gently guided.
I never expect you to know what to do . . . that’s my job! I’ll give you simple, natural prompts that help you settle in together without ever feeling posed or awkward.
I’m there to read the room, understand your family’s personalities, and create moments that feel genuine. Whether your children are shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I guide the session in a way that feels comfortable for everyone.
I’m never going to ask you to do anything that feels awkward or over the top, I’m here to capture the connection that already exists. My aim is always the same: to photograph your family in a way that feels honest, relaxed, and true to who you are.
how i work
Motherhood minis take place in a handful of beautiful, easy-to-reach West Sussex spots I know well such as:
Highdown Gardens, Goring
Arundel Park (near Hiorne Tower)
Cissbury Fields, Findon Valley
I’m also looking into a simple, neutral indoor space with a soft, modern‑countryside feel . . . although it’s not quite ready to share yet.

If you fall in love with more images (most families do), you’ll have the option to upgrade to additional photos or the full gallery.
Upgrade if you wish
You’ll choose your favourite photo - one high‑resolution digital image and a matching print are included in your session fee.

We’ll spend around 20 minutes capturing natural, relaxed moments with you and your child.
